ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN PAMPANGA RECEIVES A BOMB THREAT

San Fernando City – A bomb threat has been received by a public elementary school in Pampanga on Thursday, February 4, 2015.

School officials of San Fernando Elementary School sent the students home after receiving the threat at around 3pm.

Pampanga High School (Near SFES) sent their students home as well after a threat nearby was brought to the attention of school authorities.

Almost 10,000 students from SFES and PHS combined were sent home after the said incident.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Olivas confirmed that they didn’t detect any form of explosives within the school and that it was just a hoax.

This was the 2nd bomb threat that was reported within the vicinity, the last one was reported July 23, 2013 at PHS sending 9,000 students home.

Classes were still suspended at SFES the following day but classes resumed at PHS.
